I'm going to show you gentle movements to access your own BRAIN to update old movement patterns that are causing you pain.

That pain in your back... is a result of how your BRAIN has organized your whole system/body to move.

Sometimes brains create strange movements patterns to help an injury heal and they don't get the chance to upgrade afterwards.

That limp you needed after that highschool injury to protect your twisted ankle... was created unconsciously by your brain to keep you safe.
And your brain is so efficient, that it turned it into a habitual pattern (brains love to conserve energy) so you didn't have to consciously think about realigning your pelvis, spine and head to walk with the protective limp.
Your brain did it all for you! And grooved in a deep pattern, so it could do it super efficient.
BUT.... because brains like to conserve energy, when that old injury healed... it didn't create a brand new habitual pattern, it just adjusted the limping pattern a bit, so it was good enough. 

Most of us are walking around with "good enough" movement.
Left over old patterns from some sort of past injury, skipped developmental milestones as children, or because of our sedentary lifestyle.

Our brains make sure we can get from point A to point B and usually that's good enough.

It takes energy to upgrade old movement patterns. 
And most of us don't change anything until we have enough pain to motivate us.
